The Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari declared a new ₹2000 Cr project for better connectivity in Sikkimese roads.

Announced was a new upcoming project for Sikkim at the total sanctioned cost of Rs. 2000 Crores that includes the development of Bypass to the existing sliding zone on NH 10 from Melli to Singtam.

The project will provide development of an all-weather connectivity, it would bypass the existing slide zone.

The Union Minister updated about this project via his official twitter
