Insignia of Rabdentse the second capital of Chogyal Kingdom of Sikkim in form of monument was unveiled on March 14 at MG Marg Gangtok.
A formal event for the inauguration was attended by Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang along with cabinet ministers and other officials. The Insignia of Rabtentse was designed by Garry Chopel Bhutia, GMC Additional Chief Town Planner.
Addressing the gathering, CM PS Tamang urged all citizens to take responsibility of preserving public properties as their own property and extend support in the upkeep and maintenance of public assets.
He stated that the State government is consistently working for the welfare of the people of Sikkim, with utmost focus on developing assets for the benefit of the public in various sectors.
