2 Sikkimese Nurses to be conferred with National Florence Nightingale Award ’21

Two nurses namely Tika Devi Pandey and Tashi Lhamu Sherpa currently posted at Ranipool UPHC and Soreng PHC respectively to be conferred with National Florence Nightingale Award 2021 by the honourable President Draupadi Murmu on 7th November 2022 at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi.

Tika Devi Pandey, Senior ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery) has been in the service for the last 33 years.

Similarly Tashi Lamu Sherpa, ANS (Assistant Nursing Superintendent) has been in the service for the last 22 years.

During this period both have been dedicated to the service and shown exemplary delivery of duties and responsibilities.

It maybe recalled that the National Florence Nightingale Award is awarded to various categories of nurses by the Indian Nursing Council every year wherein they invite applications from the entire country and select few awards in each category.
