Temi Police arrest 8 persons in connection to Arun Limbu assault case

Temi police has arrested 8 persons named as accused persons in the FIR lodged by Arun Limbu. 

It was reported that these persons had assaulted him and his sister and sister-in-law on 06.07.2021 at his house in Namphing (Bermiok Tokal) in South Sikkim. Accordingly, a criminal case had been registered and investigation started. 

On 08.07.2021, a police team from Temi PS have arrested all eight alleged persons namely: 1) Tshering Bhutia, 2) Zigmee Bhutia, 3) Phurba Bhutia, 4) Durga Chettri, 5) Bimal Gurung, 6) Pradeep Tamang, 7) Phurba Tamang and L.B Basnett and are presently in Police custody. 

They will be produced before the Court of law for further legal formalities on 09.07.2021.
