The Chief Secretary of Sikkim, Shri R. Telang, paid a courtesy call on the Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, at Lok Bhavan today.
During the meeting, the Hon’ble Governor reviewed the developmental activities of the State and emphasized the importance of timely implementation of Central Government schemes to ensure sustained progress and inclusive development. He underscored that robust road infrastructure and digital connectivity are essential pillars for Sikkim’s overall growth.
The Governor also highlighted the many positive attributes of the State and remarked that Sikkim stands out as one of the most peaceful and harmonious States in the country.
Assuring the Governor, the Chief Secretary stated that all government policies and programmes would be effectively and fully implemented under his guidance, in the best interest of the people of Sikkim.
