Gyalshing session has rejected the bail plea of SDF spokespersons Avinash Yakha and Rinzing Bhutia.

As per the sources, the court has said that out of many reasons the bail plea has been rejected by the session court because the investigation is in the initial stage

Avinash Yakha and Rinzing Bhutia reportedly had gone absconding after a gunfire incident that occurred on April 30 in Soreng in West Sikkim. The clash turned violent, resulting in stone-pelting against each other and the open firing of gunshots. The main perpetrator who was filmed shooting the pistol was Avinash Yakha.

The duo surrendered before the Gyalshing court two days back on June 2

Currently, the duo has been given Judicial custody and is at Namchi district prison.
