In a shocking incident, Bhim Kumar Rai, 37, a resident of Jorethang, has been arrested for the murder of his wife, Smrita Rai, 33. According to police sources, the tragic event unfolded after a domestic feud escalated into violence.
Following the incident, Bhim Kumar Rai voluntarily surrendered at the Jorethang police station. Authorities have registered a case against him under section 103 of the Bhartiya Naya Sahita.
Smrita Rai, who was a housewife, was found dead at their residence. The police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crime.
