Former Minister RB Subba quits Sikkim Democratic Front, tenders resignation to party President Pawan Chamling. He resigns from all the posts and general membership of the SDF Party reads the resignation letter. He held a post of senior Vice President in SDF party.
It is informed that the office of the SDF Headquarter, Gangtok received the resignation letter of Subba today afternoon. SC tried reaching out to Subba over call to get his response on the same but his number was unreachable since afternoon.
In his resignation letter Subba said that SDF now remains a one man organisation and the party’s principles, aims and objectives are now shallow. He also cites that the change in the party ideology is the reason behind his resignation. He further added that he tendered his resignation keeping in mind the interest of the people.
Subba had earlier resigned from SDF party in 2016 alleging corruption and had joined BJP and later formed Hamro Sikkim Party (HSP) with Bhaichung Bhutia in 2017.
Following an internal difference he quit HSP on February 25 2019 and joined SDF on February 27, 2019.
