Gangtok, June 22: The United States -India Strategic Partnership Forum under the US India Friendship Alliance, Inc donated 100 oxygen concentrators to the State Government for the fight against COVID-19.
Ms Lalita Ambika Kumari, State Outreach and Parliamentary Initiative, USISPF and Dr Mukesh Aghi, Director and Secretary, US India Friendship Alliance Inc, were instrumental in coordinating and facilitating the delivery of oxygen concentrators valued at Rs 28 lakhs.
ACS (Health) and Resident Commissioner, New Delhi extended their support and Secretary (Agriculture/ Planning) facilitated the process of receipt of the oxygen concentrators and presented it to the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang at Samman Bhawan, Gangtok.
USISPF is a New York-based non-profit organisation that is leading the humanitarian relief efforts to secure medical and other necessary items needed by the citizens of India.
