Sikkim reported 122 daily positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 20666 cases, currently, active stand at 2107.
A total of 36 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative recovered cases to 17998. Likewise, 01 deaths were reported, taking the state’s Covid-19 death toll count to 308. The recovery rate to date stands at 87 % and the Positivity rate at 15.7 %.
The East District recorded 59 new cases, the West District recorded 32, the South District recorded 23 and the north district recorded 08 new cases.
A total of 773 samples was tested, 477 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 73 tested Covid-19 positive. 07 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which no positive cases were reported and 289 through RT-PCR out of which 49 tested positive.
