Sikkim reported 95 daily positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 21226 cases, currently, active stand at 1869.
A total of 324 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative recovered cases to 18793. Likewise, 01 deaths were reported, taking the state’s Covid-19 death toll count to 309. The recovery rate to date stands at 88.5 % and the Positivity rate at 25.6 %.
The East District recorded 30 new cases, the West District recorded 18, the South District recorded 47 and the north district recorded no new cases.
A total of 371 samples were tested, 143 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 35 tested Covid-19 positive. 15 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which no positive cases were reported and 213 through RT-PCR out of which 60 tested positive.
