Sikkim reports 260 new Covid-19 recoveries, 220 positive, 02 deaths

Sikkim reported 220 daily positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 20544 cases, currently, active  stand at 2023.

A total of 260 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative recovered cases to 17962. Likewise, 02 deaths were reported, taking the state’s Covid-19 death toll count to 307. The recovery rate to date stands at 87.4% and the Positivity rate at 24.4%.

The East District recorded 102 new cases, the West District recorded 30, the South District recorded 88 and the north district recorded no new cases.

A total of 901 samples was tested, 337 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 76 tested Covid-19 positive. 02 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which no  positive cases were reported and 562  through RT-PCR out of which 144 tested positive.

12  new patients have been admitted at STNM, District Covid-19 Hospital.
