Gangtok, 15th November 2022(IPR): On the occasion of Janjatiya Gaurav Divas the Social Welfare Department, Government of Sikkim organised a walkathon at MG, Gangtok.
Sanjeet Kharel, Minister, Social Welfare Department, Government of Sikkim flagged off the Walkathon. Students of Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) Gangyap,(West District), Suntaley, (South District), Parkha, (East District), Swayam,(North District), and Asharam school, Jhusingthang participated in the walkathon. Minister, Sanjeet Kharel, welcomed and congratulated the participating students in the walkathon.
He encouraged students to progress further and was contended to know that the students are making a mark for themselves at the regional and at National Levels. Tshewang Gyachho, Secretary, Social Welfare Department along with other officials of the department were present at the walkathon event.
