Sikkim reported 177 daily positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 21403 cases, currently, active stand at 1894.
A total of 151 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative recovered cases to 18944. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 88.5 % and the Positivity rate at 20.9 %. No deaths were reported, and the death toll stands at 309.
The East District recorded 86 new cases, the West District recorded 44, the South District recorded 44 and the north district recorded 03 new cases.
A total of 846 samples were tested, 372 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 79 tested Covid-19 positive. 06 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which 01 positive cases were reported and 468 through RT-PCR out of which 97 tested positive.
