Sikkim reported 198 daily positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 22163 cases, currently, active stand at 2244.
A total of 129 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative recovered cases to 19348. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 87.2 % and the Positivity rate at 19.2 %. 01 death were reported, and the death toll stands at 313.
The East District recorded 96 new cases, the West District recorded 35, the South District recorded 62 and the north district recorded 05 new cases.
A total of 1027 samples were tested, 303 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 69 tested Covid-19 positive. 02 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which no positive cases were reported and 722 through RT-PCR out of which 129 tested positive.
