Sikkim reported 90 daily positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 22397 cases, currently, active stand at 2225.
A total of 130 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative recovered cases to 19597. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 85.5 % and the Positivity rate at 27 %. 02 death were reported, and the death toll stands at 317.
The East District recorded 42 new cases, the West District recorded 26, the South District recorded 17 and the north district recorded 05 new cases.
A total of 332 samples were tested, 164 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 50 tested Covid-19 positive. 03 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which 01 positive case was reported and 165 through RT-PCR out of which 39 tested positive.
