Sikkim Cricket team knocked out of Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy, lost by 130 runs

In the Final group match of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Vidarbha beats Sikkim men’s cricket team with 130 runs. Following the match Sikkim team won the toss and choose to field first, in the first innings Vidarbha scored total of 205 runs with loss of 5 wickets in 20 over, chasing the target in the second innings of the match Sikkim team scored 75 runs with loss of 8 wickets in 20 over conceding defeat by 130 runs.

Palzor and Sumit from the Sikkim team took 4 wickets in total, likewise guest player Liyan Khan scored 30 runs in 36 balls.

A total of 5 matches were played by Sikkim in the group stage of the Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy, in which Sikkim won 3 matches and lost 2.

After the knockout from the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy T-20 tournament Sikkim team will participate in the coming Vijay Hazare trophy which is scheduled to be held from December 8 at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
