A written report was received by Pakyong police station on June 23 mentioning that the complainant received calls from 9749406279, 7811047992, 9123739893 in which he was informed by the caller that his electricity bill is pending and have to pay the due amount to avoid immediate disconnection.
Thereafter, he was instructed to install the Quick Support app. After installing the app, total 99,950/- had been siphoned off in 2 times I.e. first transaction for 50,000/- and another for 49,950
As per Police report, the matter is under investigation and case under section 420 IPC (Cheating) has been registered
