A written complaint was filed by the father of the 15-year-old daughter mentioning that his minor daughter was sexually assaulted by a 39-year-old man on June 28 at his residence in Pakyong District. The man is a Spiritual priest (Guru).
As per police report, the minor child has been suffering from prolong illness and was taking treatment from his Spiritual Priest (Guru) by staying in his house since one week.
The minor had narrated the incident to her mother, who in turn informed it to her husband and reported the matter to the police station.
The accused has been taken into police custody and a case under section 04 of POCSO Act, 2012 has been registered at Pakyong District
