72-Year-Old Grandmother Brutally Murdered by Grandson in Singtam
Singtam, July 19: A 72-year-old grandmother, Chandramaya Mukhia, was brutally murdered by her own grandson in a village near Andheri (near Sikkim Supreme Factory), Lower Chisopani, Singtam.
According to reports from Singtam Police Station, the heinous crime which was committed today afternoon using sickles and involved multiple stabbings.
The Sikkim Police swiftly acted on the case and managed to arrest the perpetrator within four hours of the incident.
The details of the murder are still under investigation, and a full report will be released by the police during a press briefing. The police have announced a press conference tomorrow, where they will provide a comprehensive update on the investigation.
