Sikkim’s active covid 19 cases dive down below 100

India recorded 14,148 new coronavirus infections, which took the total tally of COVID-19 cases to 4,28,81,179. Furthermore, active cases saw a dip to 1,48,359, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated today.

The death rates climbed to 5,12,924 with 302 new fatalities, the data updated in the morning stated. The daily COVID-19 cases have remained below one lakh for 18 consecutive days and active cases comprise of 0.35 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has further improved to 98.46 per cent.

Zooming into Sikkim’s Covid status, the biggest breather being the fact that there are less than 100 active cases in Sikkim.

Wherein, the total confirmed cases are 3905, total active cases is 8, likewise rcoveries have climbed to 37783 and total Deaths being 442.

Sikkim has seen 4 new cases today, 15 Fresh Recoveries, and 1 Death today.

The recovery rate has climbed up to 98.6%. Looking at the details of the active cases, 77 of the cases are either Asymptomatic of Mild, 3 are moderate, and 1 is severe. The Hospitalization status states that only 10 beds out of the 419 are occupied at the moment.
Evidently, things are getting much more stable while looking at today’s statistics, however, Sikkim Chronicle advises our patrons to follow all regulations, wear masks, sanitize frequently, maintain physical distancing, and contribute to keeping our small state of Sikkim safer and secure from the virus.
