Sikkimey Nagarik Samaj stand in solidarity with protesting ad hoc teachers and their just demands. The negligence and indifferent attitude of State Government and Education Department has degraded the entire education system in Sikkim. The students of various government schools across the state are worst affected by the incompetence of Department to resolve the issues relating to ad hoc teachers. The slogan of quality education in Sikkim is hollow and meaningless at this backdrop where teachers are compelled to hit the street every now and then. Thus, Sikkimey Nagarik Samaj strongly condemn the use of force against our respected teachers and demand State Government to immediately resolve the issue in the larger interest of quality education in Sikkim.Sonam Gyatso SherpaState CoordinatorSikkimey Nagarik Samaj
