A 23 years old woman from Sikkim has committed suicide in Kolkata According to the police she has left a suicide note allegedly blaming her living partner. The Incident happened on February 2.
The deaseased has been identified as Chimila Bhutia (23) of Upper Syari, Gangtok East Sikkim and was working in a cosmetic company in Kolkata.
Speaking with Sikkim Chronicle the father of the deseased Tashi Pintso bhutia said that the person named in the suicide note Amar Yonzon Tamang of gangtok has to be arrested immediately.
“The last i spoke with her was over the phone on that same night and she was crying repeatedly. I appeal investigation as this is not sucide it’s murder” said Tashi Phinso Bhutia
Furthermore, New Town police Kolkata has registered a case under section 306 (Abetment of suicide) of Indian Penal Code and has initiated investigation.
The body has been handled over to the relatives and the final rites will be held today at Kolkata.
