Sikkim reports 213 new Covid-19 recoveries, 130 positive, 02 deaths

Sikkim reported 130  daily positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 19941 cases, currently, active  stand at 2170.

A total of 213  COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative recovered cases to 17218. Likewise, 02 deaths were also reported today, marking the state’s death tally of 301. The recovery rate to date stands at 86.3% and the Positivity rate at 9.2%.

The East District recorded 62 new cases, the West District recorded 30, the South District recorded 22 and the north district recorded 16 new case.

A total of 1398 samples was tested, 1042 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 75 tested Covid-19 positive. 04 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which 01  positive case was reported and 352 through RT-PCR out of which 54 tested positive.

11 new patients have been admitted at STNM, District Covid-19 Hospital.
