Sikkim reported 198 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 33029 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 494.
A total of 03 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 31744. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 97.2% and the Positivity rate at 11.7% . no death was reported, and the death toll stands at 410.
The East District recorded 141 new cases, the West District recorded 28, the South District recorded 26 and the north district recorded 03 new cases.
A total of 1690 samples were tested, 1360 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 102 tested Covid-19 positive. 01 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which no positive case was reported and 329 tests through RT-PCR out of which 96 tested positive.
