On September 26,2021, On the occasion of World Pharmacist’s Day, Sikkim College of Pharmaceutical Sciences conducted community service at Menrong Goan, North Sikkim providing general health awareness events.
The program was to serve the native people by providing them sanitizers, vitamin C, sanitary napkins and by also checking their blood pressure, glucose level.
Tashi Choden Lepcha Assistant Professor said, “This program was conducted to celebrate World Pharmacist day by having a benevolence thought of serving the native people around. We provided them sanitizers, sanitary napkins , vitamin-C.
“We also taught them hand washing techniques, checked their blood pressure and glucose level.” She added
