Sikkim Nagarik Samaj demands implementation of ILP in Sikkim: Submits memorandum to Home Minister

Sikkimey Nagarik Samaj submitted a memorandum with the demands for an official notification on Citizenship Amendment Act and Implementation of Inner Line Permit (ILP) to Amit Shah, Home Minister, Government of India on 28th of October 2021.

The delegation consisting of Chief Patron and State Coordinator of Sikkimey Nagarik Samaj submitted the demands to Home Ministry as State Assembly failed to bring resolution on Citizenship Amendment Act in line with the assurance given by Home Minister in the Parliament. Moreover, State Government were equally reluctant on the demand of Sikkimese people to implement Inner Line Permit (ILP) in the state of Sikkim.
