The Sub Divisional Magistrate of Rangpo, Milan Rai has said that the isolation centre for those who would be tested positive for COVID19 would be set up in the border town within three days.
While interacting with the media today at Rangpo Checkpost he said that the process is underway.
So far any person who is tested positive through Rapid Antigen test are being sent back due to lack of isolation centre or they go for home isolation on their own
Eleven tourists who tested positive in RAT testing were sent back on the first day after the new guidelines came into effect.
On being asked the reason for delay in setting up the isolation center, the SDM replied, “ The lack of proper space has been a concern”
