Sikkim reported 385 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 34030 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 1417.
A total of 22 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 31785. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 94.5% and the Positivity rate at 22% . 01 death was reported, and the death toll stands at 411.
The East District recorded 277 new cases, the West District recorded 41, the South District recorded 58 and the north district recorded 09 new cases.
A total of 1745 samples were tested, 1143 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 163 tested Covid-19 positive. 04 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which 01 positive case was reported and 598 tests through RT-PCR out of which 221 tested positive.
