Sikkim reported 374 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 35303 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 2157.
A total of 214 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 32271. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 93% and the Positivity rate at 24%. 02 deaths was reported, and the death toll stands at 415.
The East District recorded 248 new cases, the West District recorded 71, the South District recorded 43 and the north district recorded 12 new cases.
A total of 1556 samples were tested, 1282 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 251 tested Covid-19 positive. 2 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which 0 positive case was reported and 272 tests through RT-PCR out of which 123 tested positive.
