Sikkim reported 322 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 33351 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 796.
A total of 03 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 31747. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 96% and the Positivity rate at 17.3% . no death was reported, and the death toll stands at 410.
The East District recorded 228 new cases, the West District recorded 23, the South District recorded 66 and the north district recorded 05 new cases.
A total of 1851 samples were tested, 1233 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 146 tested Covid-19 positive. 03 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which no positive case was reported and 615 tests through RT-PCR out of which 176 tested positive.
