Sikkim reported 294 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 33645 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 1063.
A total of 16 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 31763. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 96% and the Positivity rate at 17.8% . no death was reported, and the death toll stands at 410.
The East District recorded 200 new cases, the West District recorded 45, the South District recorded 40 and the north district recorded 09 new cases.
A total of 1646 samples were tested, 1279 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 155 tested Covid-19 positive. 05 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which 02 positive case was reported and 362 tests through RT-PCR out of which 137 tested positive.
