Sikkim reported 216 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 36981 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 2348.
A total of 326 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 33656. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 92.4% and the Positivity rate at 19.8% . 01 death was reported, and the death toll stands at 422.
The East District recorded 123 new cases, the West District recorded 69, the South District recorded 17 and the north district recorded 07 new cases.
A total of 1092 samples were tested, 882 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 137 tested Covid-19 positive. 03 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which 02 positive case was reported and 207 tests through RT-PCR out of which 77 tested positive.
