Sikkim reported 127 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 38099 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 1110.
A total of 323 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 35898. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 96% and the Positivity rate at 12.5% . 01 death was reported, and the death toll stands at 429.
The East District recorded 71 new cases, the West District recorded 47, the South District recorded 08 and the north district recorded 01 new cases.
A total of 1017 samples were tested, 760 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 64 tested Covid-19 positive. 02 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which 01 positive case was reported and 255 tests through RT-PCR out of which 62 tested positive.
