Sikkim COVID-19: 62 positive, Positivity rate at 6.8%

Sikkim reported 62 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to, 38415 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 655.

A total of 126 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to, 36625. Likewise, the recovery rate to date stands at 97% and the Positivity rate at 6.8%. No death was reported, and the death toll stands at 432.

The East District recorded 34 new cases, the West District recorded 26, the South District recorded 02 and the north district recorded no new cases.

A total of 905 samples were tested 782 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 39 tested Covid-19 positive. 01 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which 01 positive case was reported and 122 tests through RT-PCR out of which 22 tested positive.
