Sikkim has been awarded the award for Most Film Friendly State on the 67th National Film Award held at New Delhi on October 25 organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
In the event, ‘Sikkim’ was adjudged as the “Most Film Friendly State” award which was handed over by Vice-President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu, Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur, and State Minister L. Murugan.
Film Board Chairperson Pooja Sharma was present at the 67th National Film Awards. The winners of the 67th National Film Awards were revealed today by the jury for the year 2019.
The chairperson and other Jury members met with Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar ahead of the announcement and presented him with the Award nominations.
