Sikkim all set to host first ever Ranji Trophy match

The venue has been confirmed to host three matches while there is still a possibility of the number increasing due to a couple rounds of matches yet to be decided.

Sikkim will go head-to-head with Manipur in its first match as a Ranji Trophy host.

Thenafter, Sikkim will host Mizoram in the second match on December 27 and Arunachal Pradesh on January 10, 2023.

The tournament will commence on December 13 across multiple venues throughout the country, and the final will be played on February 16, 2023.

In the previous edition of 2021–22, Madhya Pradesh won its first ever title after beating Mumbai by six wickets in the final.

The most successful team in the history of the tournament is Mumbai, with 41 titles to their name.
