A program was organised today at 13 Bn, ITBP camp Lingdum in which Chandan Singh Bhandari, Commanding Officer informed that 31 solar street lights will be installed at around Ray Village. In which 20 will be installed on the road leading to Ray Village and Ray Monastery and rest 11 lights in Sama village under Upper Lingdum.
The day long program was attended by monks of Ray Monastery, Gram Panchayat and people from the nearby village.
Alongside the program a free health check up camp was also organised in which medicines were provided free of cost.
Addressing the gathering CO Bhandari stated that under Civic Action Programme this year solar lights are being installed, ” The solar street lights will not only facilitate villagers for their movement but also help to keep them safe from wild animals.”
