Central Referral hospital Manipal starts a new Covid-19 Vaccination centre at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT), Majitrar, East Sikkim.
Further the new vaccination centre has been operational since July 5, as informed by the Management of CRH both the doses of vaccination i.e. first dose for 18-44 years category and second dose for 45 years and above category will be available.
Booking for the slot can be made through www.cowin.gov.in using the pin code 737136. In addition, walk in facility is also another option. The timing for the vaccination starts from 9:30 am till 4;00 pm, every day excluding Sundays.
According to the Management, CRH the initiative to set up a new centre for vaccination is to cater to the large number of people who live in towns far away from Gangtok.
Dr. Yogesh Verma, Medical Superintendent, CRH said, “CRH is pleased to support the Government of Sikkim in the COVID-19 vaccination drive. We have carried out 14,117 off site vaccinations up to 3 July 2021. We are committed to provide COVID vaccination service to everyone and hope that this new Vaccination Centre can cater to those that are in need.”
