BJP Legislator and former Minister Dorjee Tshering Lepcha terms Sikkim Krantikari Morcha and Bharatiya Janata party’s alliance in Sikkim as ‘mere eyewash and undignified’.

MLA DT Lepcha held a presser at Gangtok soon after the conclusion of the tenth assembly of Sikkim legislative assembly on December 08 during which he stated that, “Government is running because of the BJP. If 10 MLAS were not in BJP, PS Tamang would not have been the Chief Minister of state. The alliance is just an eyewash’.

Furthermore, Lepcha speaking on the issue of Limboo Tamang seat reservation in Sikkim Legislative Assembly, which he raised in the Assembly a day prior, Lepcha said, “In the year 2006, present CM was there as a part of the committee as a minister, why didn’t didn’t speak the then? Why blame the previous government and just question ,when they are yet to form any committee like SDF government in the past.”

“We formulated Burman Commission to provide seats to the communities. But what SKM government has done so far is not satisfying, neither were the explanation given during the assembly hours. CM only blamed the former government for delay instead of doing some concrete work or pursuing any process. If they come up with any valid formula then we will definitely support them’, added Lepcha
