“Attending classes online and giving exam offline is just like playing PUBG and going for war”; Nagaland students after NU announced offline mode of examination

After the Nagaland University annouced the dates for offline exams, students from various colleges accros the state took the streets boycotting the offline exam and demanded online exams instead.

“Attending classes oniline and giving examination offline is just like playing PUBG and going for war” stated one protesting student while asked about the demand by local reporter

” 80 percent of syllabus was completed online so we should have online examination rather than offline examination”

Further the students claimed that the Nagaland University judged them after taking classes online and scheduleing offline examination

Students in large numbers took the protest in front of District Collector office, Dimapur holding plc cards and raising slogans demanding online examination on November 25.

Soeaking on the nature of the protest one of the student intacting with local media said, ” No one has been forced to gather for demonstration, everyone came by themselves and we will continue the protest unless the demends are accepted”

As per the the notification regarding the Offline examination by the Nagaland University the examination is Scheduled to start from December 3.
