Acclaimed Bollywood actress Chum Darang, widely regarded as a pride of Northeast Indian cinema, visited Rinchepong today along with nine prominent social media influencers as part of a special tourism familiarisation programme organised by the Rinchepong Development Committee (RTDC).
The delegation was warmly welcomed by RTDC officials, who presented a comprehensive briefing on Rinchepong’s tourism landscape, rich cultural heritage, and long-term sustainable development vision. The presentation highlighted the region’s unique natural assets, traditional way of life, and its growing appeal as a serene Himalayan destination.
Expressing appreciation for the initiative, Chum Darang and the accompanying influencers commended RTDC’s clear vision and structured approach towards responsible tourism.
