SPL: Sinolchu beaten by Red Panda 2:0

Namchi, 5th Feb, 2023: The second match of Sikkim Premier League – Together for Sikkim football, under the aegis of the Department of Sports and Youths Affairs, was organized in Bhaichung Stadium in Namchi between Siniolchu FC and Red Panda FC.

The chief guest of the match was Ganesh Rai, Chairman, NMC, and the guest of honour was, UDD Chairman Tashi Tamang. The District Magistrate of Namchi District M Bharani and the Joint Director of the Department of Sports and Youths Affairs, Namchi, too were present in the match.

Sikkim Premier League, which had its inauguration ceremony on 30th January at Palzor Stadium in Gangtok, had its first match played there, and the second match was organized by the committee in Namchi Bhaichung Stadium, and the next matches will be played in both stadiums on February 08.

During the event the chief guest was handed over with the memento, and the veteran football player of Namchi, B Tshering Lepcha was felicitated by the committee.

The winner of Nepal Idol, Rewash Gurung, who hails from Sikkim, performed two songs in the Stadium.
In the second match of the League, Red Panda FC became victorious over Sinolchu with two goals to nil.
