Sikkim reported 257 daily positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 24598 cases, currently, active stand at 2796.
A total of 179 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative recovered cases to 21209. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 87.2% and the Positivity rate at 13.2%. 01 deaths were reported, and the death toll stands at 329.
The East District recorded 85 new cases, the West District recorded 79, the South District recorded 83 and the north district recorded 10 new case of COVID-19.
A total of 1936 samples were tested, samples through 1328 Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 151 tested Covid-19 positive. 01 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which no positive cases were reported and 607 through RT-PCR out of which 106 tested positive.
