Sikkim reported 427 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 35730 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 2398.
A total of 163 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 32434. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 92% and the Positivity rate at 29.2%. no deaths was reported, and the death toll stands at 415.
The East District recorded 272 new cases, the West District recorded 71, the South District recorded 75 and the north district recorded 09 new cases.
A total of 1463 samples were tested, 1014 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 203 tested Covid-19 positive. 03 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which no positive case was reported and 446 tests through RT-PCR out of which 224 tested positive.
