Sikkim Covid-19: 237 new cases, 01 death, 251 recoveries

Sikkim Covid19: 216 new cases, 01 death, Positivity rate

Sikkim reported 237 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 37333 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 2082.

A total of 251 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 34238. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 93.2% and the Positivity rate at 18.3%. 01 death was reported, and the death toll stands at 424.

The East District recorded 146 new cases, the West District recorded 58, the South District recorded 22 and the north district recorded 11 new cases.

A total of 1295 samples were tested, 1040 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 139 tested Covid-19 positive. 02 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which 01 positive cases was reported and 253 tests through RT-PCR out of which 97 tested positive.
