A massive security breach occurred in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday, 13 December, when intruders leapt into the chamber  from the visitors’ gallery while proceedings for the Winter Session were in progress.

Two protesters were also present, chanting slogans outside the House, according to reports. All the accused have been apprehended.

In the footage broadcast on Sansad TV, a man dressed in a blue jacket was seen leaping over the benches in the chamber. Rajendra Agrawal, who was presiding at the time, immediately suspended the session.

Furthermore, according to national reports, Delhi Police has identified the two protesters who were detained outside the Parliament as Neelam (42) from Hisar and Amol Shinde (25) from Latur, Maharashtra.
