Gangtok:PM Shri Government Girls School, Deorali actively participated in the 9th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha by joining the programme virtually. Students and teachers attentively followed the interactive session, which focused on examination preparedness, stress management, and motivation, providing valuable guidance ahead of the upcoming examinations.

The event was graced by the Hon’ble Minister for Sports & Youth Affairs and Law & Parliamentary Affairs, Shri Raju Basnet, as the Chief Guest, while the Hon’ble Minister-cum-Area MLA, Shri Arun Upreti, attended as the Special Guest. Their presence added significance to the programme and motivated the students to approach their academic journey with confidence and positivity.

The 9th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha was held at the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s official residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi, where Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi interacted with students from across the country. During the interaction, the Prime Minister shared personal anecdotes related to academics, underscored the importance of extracurricular activities, and highlighted the need for holistic learning.

Emphasising balanced development, the Prime Minister stressed that practical life skills and professional competencies should be given equal importance alongside theoretical knowledge. Addressing examination-related stress, he reminded students that examinations are only one aspect of life and encouraged them to read biographies of public figures to understand how challenges and setbacks can be overcome through perseverance and determination.

Notably, among the 37 students selected from across the country to participate in the interaction, Shriya Pradhan, a Class X student and School Prefect of Government New Secondary School, Namchi, represented the State of Sikkim, bringing pride to the state.

The virtual participation in Pariksha Pe Charcha proved to be an enriching experience for the students of PM Shri Government Girls School, Deorali, inspiring them to face examinations with a positive mindset and renewed enthusiasm.
