Gyalshing Dec20,2022:
Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Gyalshing in collaboration with District Hospital Society/ NTEP/ DHG, Gyalshing, successfully conducted Health Camp and Awareness Programme on Health and Hygiene at 33- Yangsum GPU, Hee-Martam Block for “Chisey Pokwa Smriti Bagan” beneficiaries and general public of 33- Yangsum and 32-Barfok Chandabung GPU under Tribal Development Fund (TDF), sponsored by NABARD, Gangtok.
The specialists that made their presence from the district were District Tuberculosis Officer
Dr. Smriti Rai,Paediatrician Dr.Chewang Bhutia,E.N.T.Dr. Rachana Rai,Medical Officer (Rinchenpong PHC) Dr. Pranesh Gurung and Prajapati Sharma. Anushaya Chettri, Joshna Sharma and Sonam Tshering Bhutia were present as supporting staff.
The camp witnessed a total of 130 patients and were screened at the camp followed by the distribution of free medicines, Random Sugar, KFT, LFT and BP test.
The programme concluded with the bestowal of felicitations to the participating doctors and Technical Staff of District Hospital Gyalshing by newly elected panchayats of 33-Yangsum and 32-Barfok Chandabung GPUs and also thanked NABARD-Gangtok and the entire team for coming up with such pro peoples programmes.
