FIR against admin of Jutyo Sikkim, Badyo Sikkim
FIR filed against the admin of Jutyo Sikkim, Badyo Sikkim by Pawan Gurung, General Secretary ( Headquarter/Administration), Sikkim Kantikari Morcha with the allegations that the admin was using the page to defame him and his party by airing a “fake voice conversation” clip of him threatening and intimidating a Panchayat Election candidate, in the pretext that a “minister’s candidate” would be contesting.
Gurung, who alleges that someone had impersonated as the GS of SKM HQ, which is the post he holds, also stated in his FIR statement that “Someone with Criminal intention and with the intention to harm SKM Party has impersonated as General Secretary Headquarter SKM Party this is done with the intention of disturbing the ensuing Panchayat Election and to bring into hatred or contempt or to excite disaffection towards the Government established by Law.”
Here is the content of the FIR filed:
“I, Pawan Gurung General Secretary (Headquarter/Administration), Sikkim Kantikari Morcha (SKM), Ghaley Compound, Tibet Road Gangtok, Sikkim, would like bring your notice that a fake voiceconversation (Video footage is annexed in the Pendrive) is beingCirculated in the Facebook account of one Facebook page “JutyoSikkim, Badyo Sikkim” since 16.10.2022. In the said voice conversation someone impersonating as General Secretary, SKM party could be heard intimidating and threating one Nephew of so called Ganesh Hingmang and his father against contesting Panchayat Election on the ground that a minister’s candidate will be contesting from the said panchayat Ward.
The said impersonator can also be heard threatening the nephew of so called Ganesh Hingmang and his father of dire consequences in the event of the said person not withdrawing himself.
I would like to state that the said person whose voice could be heard in the conversation and who identifies himself as the General Secretary (Headquarter/Administration) SKM Party is not me. Someone with Criminal intention and with the intention to harm SKM Party has impersonated as General Secretary Headquarter SKM Party this is done with the intention of disturbing the ensuing Panchayat Election and to bring into hatred or contempt or to excite disaffection towards the Government established by Law.
It has been the stated position of the SKM Party to not to support or oppose any one in the ensuing Panchayat Election as the Panchayat Election are this time held in non party basis and independent candidate alone are eligible to contest the Election. By circulating fake conversation in the social media an attempt is being made to portray SKM Party in bad light. You are therefore requested to register an FIR against the Admin of Jutyo Sikkim, Badyo Sikkim and against all the people involved in the crime and take up investigation to get to the root of the crime.”
